A houseguest premise, in the platform’s own terms
My Wife’s Best Friend on Candy AI has the shortest pitch among the Riley Reid series, and it is a domestic one. The official copy speaks straight to the viewer: what if your spouse’s closest friend, who arrives with a reputation, moves into your home? It adds that she already knows what you have been wanting. The synopsis does not name her, so neither does this guide.
On paper it is a household story, not a trip: a married couple, a friend who becomes a live-in guest, and a viewer addressed as the husband. That second-person framing is different from the other Riley Reid synopses, which all describe someone in the third person. It is also an older title, already in the catalog on October 5, 2026, rather than one of the October additions.
The price: 30 tokens, not 12
Most series on the platform list 12 tokens per locked episode. Creator series charge 30, as do a handful of older titles, this one among them. The three locked episodes add up to 90 tokens (3 x 30), where a regular series would cost 36 (3 x 12).
| Episodes | Free to watch? | What unlocks it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Yes | Nothing; it opens on the series page |
| 2 | Yes | A free account, 0 tokens |
| 3, 4 and 5 | No | Premium, or 30 tokens per unlock |
Premium comes in three lengths: one month at $13.99; a quarter at $26.97, which works out to $8.99 a month; or a year at $47.88, about $3.99 a month. Those figures date from September 2026. The monthly allowance of tokens is generally 100, so 90 fits inside it. Prices are set by the platform and can change, so the number on the series page is the one that counts; our check on October 14, 2026 found 30 tokens here.
The higher rate is the thing to know before starting: five episodes of this series cost more to finish than five episodes of a regular one, even though both start with two free.
What the Cheating tag does and does not say
The platform labels the series Cheating, one of its genre tags. It is the series’ only genre tag, next to a Realistic style. The label marks the theme of the premise, a married household and an outside friend, and says nothing about what any episode shows; this guide does not guess. Other series with the tag are gathered under Cheating Candy AI Shorts. Among the Riley Reid titles, Our Host Is Riley Reid carries it too, while The Maid of Honor pairs it with a wedding setting.
Who the cast list names
The platform lists one cast member, Riley Reid. Inside the platform, the name refers to a digital twin generated by AI, and her chat profile carries a Digital Twin Disclaimer. For the rest of her series, see this guide’s creator page for Riley Reid AI. Series pages also offer the Chat with the Cast feature, a separate conversation with a character, while the five episodes themselves stay scripted.
Bottom line
Treat the two free episodes as a trial of the premise and decide there. If you continue, the bill is 90 tokens, or a Premium plan instead. That is a higher unit price than most titles in the catalog of Candy AI Shorts charge, though the total stays modest, and two of the five episodes were never going to cost anything. The series page itself lives at candy.ai.
